APMLE Part 1 · interactive study maps
Board prep, built for podiatry.
Every topic on one calm map, every answer option explained, and a print edition for your iPad. Made by a podiatry student, for the boards we actually take.
The syllabus
Three things, done really well.
Maps, not chapters
Every topic placed where it acts, on one page. Open any box for the diagram, the key facts and the traps.
Checks that teach
Every answer option explains itself: why it is right, why it is wrong, and what would have made it right.
A print edition, too
Every map comes with a PDF for paper or GoodNotes and Notability, with an answer key at the back.
25%1
of Part 1 is lower extremity anatomy. Most review books give it a chapter.
StudyPod starts from the podiatry board outline, so the part that's most yours gets the most room.

- Nerve
- Deep fibular
- Artery
- Anterior tibial
The common fibular nerve wraps the fibular neck. One fracture there can take out both branches at once — a favorite exam trap.

Who's behind it
Hi, I'm Caren.
I'm a first-year podiatry student, and I learn by seeing the whole page. So I started building my own maps: every topic in one place, every answer explained, and pretty enough that I actually wanted to open them.
Then my classmates started asking for copies. StudyPod is the version of those maps I'd want on day one: calm, clear, and made for our boards.
I'm shaping it with the P2s studying for Part 1 right now.
StudyPod is independent and isn't affiliated with any college of podiatric medicine or with the APMLE.
